SIMRAD SN90

Simrad SN90 is an efficient tool for trawling and purse Seine vessels.

For trawlers, forward-looking transducers are installed at the bow to avoid acoustic noise from the hull, machinery and propellers. With its high resolution and long detection range, the sonar can detect individual fish and shoals - even if they are close to the ocean floor and hundreds of metres away.

When used for purse Seine, the side-view transducer helps the user fully control the setting of the purse Seine. There is no need to retract the transducer with a huge hull mounting unit. The large horizontal coverage allows the user to achieve a panoramic view.
